Based on a condensed version of the Association’s popular two-day 'Introduction to Aerosol Technology' Course, this one-day Aerosol Technology Foundation Course covers all aspects of aerosol production, including:
- how the technology works
- can, valve and actuator manufacture
- propellant and formulation considerations, and
- the manufacturing process.
In addition, Jo Jackson, Innovation and Marketing Manager of Colep/ACOA, will share some exciting international innovations in the aerosol format!
Delivered by experienced and respected aerosol industry practitioners, the course is a ‘must’ for anyone working with aerosols in an operations, laboratory, account management or technical role.
PLUS, delegates can supplement the course with an optional extra day of factory tours on 22 March to see aerosol manufacture in progress at a can factory, a valve factory and an aerosol filler.

Recalls Workshop
28 September 2016 at Pier One Sydney Harbour Hotel, Sydney.
This half-day Workshop took a practical focus, including presentations by several industry players who have recently managed recalls of their products, along with presentations on your legal responsibilities, managing the interface with retailers during the process, and how to handle any resulting waste aerosols.

Expert local and international speakers covered all aspects of aerosol production, including propellants and formulation considerations, safety, testing, labelling, industry regulations and sustainability. In addition, a speaker from Daizo Japan and One Asia Network shared some exciting innovations in the aerosol format.
Day 3 featured an optional tour of a can factory, a valve factory and an aerosol filler.

Aerosol Labelling Workshop

This Workshop was important for anyone involved in the development, manufacture or marketing of an aerosol product. It was the perfect refresher to ensure that your aerosol product labels contain the correct information and symbols, so you keep on the right side of the law.
Delivered by experienced industry experts, this one-day Workshop covered:
- the basics - the Aerosol Standard (AS2278) and the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG7)
- labelling for workplace and consumer products
- end-use specific labelling requirements (for cosmetic, disinfectant, therapeutic, and insecticide aerosols)
- marketing/environmental claims, barcodes and labelling technology.
